Ellie Sleightholm is a Master’s graduate in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, with experience in both the space and AI industries.

After beginning her career in the space sector, she transitioned into artificial intelligence and machine learning, where she now works on developing innovative AI technologies.

Alongside her work in the AI industry, Ellie is a passionate science communicator dedicated to breaking down barriers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). She loves showing that mathematics isn’t something to fear but something to marvel at — a language that explains the world around us and connects everything we see.

Through engaging content across her popular YouTube, Instagram and TikTok channels, public speaking, and advocacy, Ellie encourages more women and underrepresented groups to pursue careers in science and technology while sparking curiosity in the next generation of innovators.
